THIS IS HALLOWEEN, THIS IS HALLOWEEN, HALLOWEEN, HALLOWEEN
happy halloweenie! it's one of my favorite days- i can wear all black, my black rose flower crown, skulls, etc. w/o anyone calling me goth (i lied, my friend actually called me goth this morning) or weird (my brother)
i woke up a bit earlier today just to do my "halloween make-up" (i can't do make-up to save my life, it was just purple & black eye shadow & eyeliner). i debated on black leggings or black jeans & which black tank top to wear. did i mention i love black?
i still had class which was a bummer but i saw a few costumes around campus & someone came by while i was hanging w a friend & offered us candy. i also brought that friend some candy bc everyone deserves a little bit of halloween spirit, especially if they're gonna be stuck at school all day
other than that, it was a fairly normal way. i got home & did my design homework while netflix-ing. BUT, I DID WATCH NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. i had been putting it off the whole month so what better day to watch it than on the day of?
after that, we watched the newest episode of the flash & we heard the doorbell ring. since it was raining, i had totally forgotten that kids would be trick-or-treating. we didn't have candy & my parents weren't home anyways, so we just sat there, watching the flash, waiting for the kids to leave. it was kind of funny but i also felt so bad that we left them hanging
i miss trick-or-treating. in maryland, i used to ride my bike around w my cousin in her neighborhood & we'd trick or treat together. we'd play "thriller" from our phones & go to every cul-de-sac. we'd come home after hitting up every house & pool all of our candy together & we would sort it & share it all out, or trade
now, i don't eat candy as much (though i guess i eat more than the average "adult") but that doesn't mean i don't miss going out & adventuring w my cousins & all of the fun that i had as a kid on halloween
that being said, i hope you all had/have a great halloween & stay/stayed safe!
