hello guys, guess who came out with yet another great music video? MELANIE MARTINEZ! if you haven't heard any of her songs, GO LISTEN. NOW. i believe her most popular song is "Pity Party."

but anyways. the music video. i must admit that her videos are a tad bit creepy & this one made me cringe at some points (there's a "surgery" scene & i can't handle cutting skin or anything like that) but i still love love love her videos. i believe she does direct them herself & all of her videos are based about the story of "Cry Baby."

Cry Baby is kind of like Melanie's "alter ego," if you will. & the whole album (also named Cry Baby) revolves around Cry Baby's story. there is a lot of background info but i won't bore you with all of it since google is a thing but i really like the message behind this song "Mrs. Potato Head." if you read some of the lyrics, it's basically about girls feeling like they need to get plastic surgery in order to be beautiful & how Cry Baby sees this & decides she doesn't want to be like "Mrs. Potato Head."
